Love the Concept, Mostly Useless Execution
I bought Desktopr so that I could put my Google Calendar on my desktop and glance at it quickly, simply by using my "Reveal Desktop" hot spot. Since my Google Calendar is for personal things only, I wanted to assign it to my personal desktop/space in Lion and have my work space be something else.
But I cant do any of that. When I use the reveal desktop hotspot, Desktopr is hidden as well, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to assign it to a single space in Lion. It may be possible, but its certainly not intuitive, and I cant find the answer anywhere on the internet. But the hotspot issue is the dealbreaker for me, since it means if I want to actually USE Desktopr, I need to hide every single open application. That defeats the purpose; its easier to just keep a tab open for the calendar.
Its a fun program with a neat idea and an attractive interface, but it does absolutely nothing of what I need it to do.
